The cause of and solution to this problem are unknown.

  • Download speeds may be very slow, even with good client settings.
  • Workarounds: run as administrator and/or set Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode for the executable. Workarounds: use File -> Exit to close the program and/or toggle bt.graceful_shutdown in the Advanced settings.
  • The uSerenity process may remain active or crash after exiting.
  • Large torrent piece sizes (> 16 MB) are not supported.
  • This is a limitation of the base client and has no fix. It was an interesting experiment.> uSerenity 2.2.1 Build 25302 > BitTorrent Inc. There are other small annoyances, like a lack of white space between lines in the UI that make everything harder to read. These are small nits, but they're also arbitrary changes to the UI that added nothing to the program. And then there'es the placement of the log in a tab with the main window. In uTorrent the ability to delete the data is just one of the items on the context menu. Then, when removing torrents, you right click and it requires checking off a box if you want to delete the torrent data. Instead, it can require pulling up several small dialogs off the the context menu to manage various things like a torrent's (or group of torrents') bandwidth and ratio settings. It's still viewable down below under 'General' for individual torrents, but it's not as convenient as simply being able to see it at a glance for all torrents.Īnother large annoyance is a lack of a 'Properties' dialog for torrents. One big thing was the inability to add 'Availability' to the main torrent grid view. But then I began noticing some little things that were missing, or just annoyingly different for no apparent reason. It looks like most of qBittorrent mimics uTorrent 2.2 very closely. I soon realized maybe a little too similar. So I tried out qBittorrent today.Īt first I thought "this is good." Very similar.
